It was just a commendable fit for a getaway in Venice with best value. The air conditioning worked really well, which made our stay much more comfortable. Try seeking out convenient food spots before arriving to avoid getting lost.

I found myself in a bit of a tricky situation when arriving at Canal Regio. After reception was closed, we encountered a communication hiccup regarding our room keys. It was stressful to sort it out in the confusion. The room itself had unexpected stairs leading up to the bedroom and a step down into the bathroom, which was a bit challenging. It’s definitely not the best choice if you're traveling with elderly individuals. On a brighter note, I enjoyed the location, which made it easy to explore Venice and get to nearby attractions. The bed in our room was comfortable, and the bathroom was newly done and immaculate, which I appreciated. I did experience a plumbing issue with the sink, but the receptionist resolved it while we were out. There were some inconsistencies regarding our room compared to what was originally booked, and I felt the room was slightly cramped. But despite the inconveniences, our stay was saved by the lovely location and the comfort of the bed.

Air conditioning was great but the shower had low water pressure.

The location is a gem. it’s tucked away just enough to feel like a hidden treasure, yet close to all the action. The room has access to English channels on TV, and thick blankets are available for those chillier nights.
The experience comes with its quirks. The shower runs out of hot water faster than you'd like—count on five minutes max, so plan accordingly. The bed might be low for some, giving it a unique twist, and navigating the odd stairs in the room can be a little tricky, especially if you're hauling luggage. The lack of consistent hot water is a bummer, and while I didn't feel unsafe in the surrounding alleys, I can see how the shadows at night might give some travelers the creeps. Honestly, it could stand a few simple improvements to feel more like home.

great location but cramped room
The location truly stood out. it provided easy access to attractions. The room, though small, was comfortable and the bed allowed for a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the upgrade offered to us, which added a special touch to our stay. we enjoyed access to English channels on TV, which made our evenings more enjoyable.
The small size of the room made it feel somewhat cramped.

Newly renovated bathroom with immaculate cleanliness set a positive tone, while the amazing canal view from the room was a highlight. Access to a nearby supermarket made it convenient for daily essentials. the experience was slightly marred by inconsistent hot water in the shower, coupled with some quirky stairs which may pose challenges for those with heavy luggage. The lack of a TV gave a sense of tranquility, yet it might not suit everyone.
